Purchased new by current owner on 19/3/97. VAT paid. Fully registered on UK Ships Register, official number: 900202, port: Southampton, Call Sign: MWSL9
Built by Marine Projects in 1996 – Yard Number B4039, HIN GBMPP00024H697, launched March 1997 at Swanwick. Designer Bill Dixon, Lloyds certified hull.
Used mainly for short-handed leisure cruising along Channel and Atlantic coasts of France, south and east coasts of England and Ireland, never raced. She is a very comfortable and dry boat to sail with easy and predictable motion in a seaway, not the fastest by modern standards – about 8.0 knots on beam reach in 15k wind but a reliable passage maker and highly manoeuvrable under both sail and power. All main controls including cruising chute furler are led to cockpit making for practical short / single handed sailing. Accommodates six adults easily on extended voyages in 3 cabins. Professionally maintained and always marina berthed.
